Damage Control (www.DAMAGEctrl.info) a new on- line community for those who maintain the Oracle E-Business Suite is being launched this week at Oracle OpenWorld. The site brings together blogs, articles, white papers, tips, forums and links to relevant information – anything to do with maintaining the Oracle E-Business Suite – all presented with a sense of humor.
The top, fresh or spicy pickle ratings catch your eye first on the damagectrl.info home page. Community members submit content for inclusion, comment on it and give it a pickle rating. "There is a lot of information on the Internet about maintaining the Oracle E-Business Suite" says Susan Dorn, CEO of RingMaster Software Corporation, “unfortunately, it is hard to find." “We wanted to create a site that aggregates these resources for people whose responsibilities include maintaining the Oracle E-Business Suite so they could easily find all the information they need to do their job better and easier and have fun doing it.” said Dorn. While RingMaster is the initial sponsor of the site, it is expected other organizations will want to join in on the fun as sponsors or advertisers
